SITUATION AT A GLANCE
Deepening cooperation with the Maltese group in Ivano Frankivsk
The Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta has delivered its second aid consignment to the Maltese organisation in Ivano Frankivsk, in western Ukraine. The consignment consisted of kitchen tents, and non-perishable food items, which will enable the local Charity Service to open a new kitchen in the town to feed IDPs and to start providing assistance in the settlement of Mikolajiv.
Cooperation between the two organisations will continue in the coming weeks. The Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta will provide the Ukrainian Maltese organisation with medical backpacks for use in special emergencies. These so-called emergency bags can be used in disaster situations and other humanitarian emergencies by frontline staff and medical care providers.
